Meet Helena
Welcome to Ritchie Media! My name is Helena Ritchie and I wear the hats of the Chief Technical Officer and the Chief Creative Officer. To put it bluntly, I do all the work around here while my son wears the CEO hat and I let him think he’s the boss.
I’ve worn a lot of different hats in my life – daughter, sister, mother, wife, to name a few. These days I’m more about defining myself in ways that appeal to me for myself instead of my relationships with other people. I don’t think enough women do that and I’m very pleased to be able to use my skills as a content marketing and social media marketing specialist to help other women (and men too) create businesses that fulfill them and allow them to live their life passions.
So how do I define myself?
When I’m not creating content for my two PLR stores here at Ritchie Media and at Healthy Living PLR, I can usually be found blogging and creating newsletters on personal development topics, or wandering the local trails with camera in hand, or working out at the local gym. As far as labels go, I am an author, blogger, photographer, musician, and aspiring triathlete.
I have been building websites for myself and others since 1997, when I created my first really ugly site on Angelfire complete with sparkly backgrounds and flashing graphics. From there I learned that people really were using the internet for more than just chatting and making personal pages, and what has really become a lifelong interest in internet marketing was born. My passion for content marketing and creation was born of a lifelong love of writing and research.
Ritchie Media is an extension of that, and is my way of providing ethical, affordable content solutions to small business owners both locally and online. I love being able to use my skills and knowledge to help others live their dreams. I am a firm believer in the saying that if you help enough people get what they want, you will get what you want as well. And what I want, what it is my passion to create is a rescue sanctuary and training centre for large dogs.
